Oh Crap! - that duet of Dragostea Din Tei (the Numa Numa song) with Kateryna Biehu and Dan Balan (who wrote the song) was magical .. The only thing I could think of like it was Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg - "Je T'aime" - which probably tripled the French population after it came out because it was so sexy. Wow. I just wish they'd sung the whole song like that

@TX Livin' it is publicly known. He even said it himself about her not being attractive and all. In interview 2019. Interview done in 2015, 2017. He says a lot. He preferred talking to her by phone instead of in person.

Yeah but he never truly loved his wife. He has sid he was not attracted to her and he cheated on her all the time. That is why she grew more insecure and became more reclusive. He did that to her. He broke her. Then criticized what she became. Jones great voice horrible husband and man

""I'll Never Fall in Love Again" is a song written by Lonnie Donegan and Jimmy Currie, and first released by Donegan as a single in 1962. Its most commercially successful recording was by Tom Jones in 1967." That's from Wikipedia, but it's correct; I was 18 in 1962 and a great fan of Lonnie's, and remember him releasing that song. Tom Jones wasn't on the Pop scene then.
My favourite moments here are when the judges came up to these young singers and give them some pointers on how to structure their performance when no one turned for them. Heartwarming.
I just love Sir Tom his voice just does something to me. I can be so depressed and listen to him and feel so much better. Thank you so much Tom for your music it's passes from generation to generation❤️

bellabana His song choice was perfect then. Broken Road by Rascal Flatt is about having to go down bad roads to find the right one. I cried the first time I saw the full clip with the explanation about his connection with Sir Tom through his dad. Such a sweet story and his mom crying in back.

Y'all youngsters need to see all of Sir Tom's work. I grew up with his soulful tunes wafting through the house!!! Mom and Dad preferred to play his records instead of letting us five kids watch him shimmy and shake his way across every stage he ever graced!!! Thanks Tom for the memories. And you still GOT IT!!!

@Kim They seemed to be too busy singing along and then getting the crowd to sing along. In a way maybe some people would think that it's an honor to have that happen... especially if a judge sings with you, but it just seemed like they were singing as they would with the radio and not actually Listening to him after the beginning. I felt bad for him that they didn't turn AND that they didn't pay more attention. IMO if you're a judge and you love the song and think they are doing a pretty good job and you want to sing along and you have a mic and people will hear you (maybe more than the the person doing the audition) then turn your chair and respect them at least. (Yes I know he got to sing with a judge later, but it's not the same as them turning their chairs.)
I actually love his version of Let Me Down better than the original singer. I think he sounded great, but probably the judges were looking for a wow moment, which the song doesn't really have. But I think he got a really nice low voice. Quite a sexy voice
